Meet Mike Valdez, Holistic RN, NCCA, IAC
Hi Kamusta? (Greetings in Tagalog)

My name is Mike Valdez. I am a Holistic Mental Health Nurse, Holistic Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner, and Founder of Noble Aromatix.
More About Mike:
Mike has worked in the healthcare industry for more than a decade, serving as a certified nursing assistant, medication technician, and licensed practical nurse — experiences that shaped him into the nurse he is today. Mike’s love for nature, gardening, plants, food, culture, and diversity deeply influences the way he approaches care, blending clinical skill with a holistic perspective. As a first-generation college student, Mike’s own nursing education gave him valuable insight into the most effective pathways to becoming a registered nurse, particularly in Washington state. Today, he practices as a psychiatric, mental, and behavioral health nurse, and utilizes clinical aromatherapy as his primary holistic intervention to support emotional and physical well-being.
During one night of reflection, Mike discovered how the way he practices as a nurse rooted from a holistic approach. In 2023, he became a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) to better learn how to practice as a holistic nurse. Shortly after, Mike discovered a keen interest in aromatherapy and obtained a diploma and certification as a holistic clinical aromatherapy practitioner. To further his clinical aromatherapy knowledge, he became nationally certified as a Level 3: NAHA Certified Clinical Aromatherapist (NCCA).

I am certified as a holistic clinical aromatherapy practitioner by the the Institute of Integrative Aromatherapy (IAC). I am also nationally certified as a Level 3: NAHA Certified Clinical Aromatherapist (NCCA).I practice the evidenced-based use of clinical aromatherapy among patients suffering from various psychiatric, mental, behavioral, and emotional concerns like major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder.
